Covid-19 Protocols & Considerations

My number one priority is to ensure the safety of your family and mine. I am taking all of the necessary steps to protect our collective health by following the Fraser Health Authority guidelines during Covid-19. The studio is cleaned before & after each session; common areas, high-touch and hard surfaces are disinfected, all fabrics/wraps/clothing are laundered after each use. I only book one session per day during the pandemic to avoid cross-exposures, and to allow sufficient time to perform the cleaning procedures.

Masks are now required for adults and children over 5 years old. Of course, while you are actively having your photo taken, this doesn’t apply (except for me, I wear a mask at all times!) I have a supply of disposable masks in studio for those who forget to bring one; hand sanitizer is also provided for client use.

The day prior to your session, I will send you a link to the “Health Screening Form” which you will be asked to fill out and submit on behalf of yourself and those accompanying you to the session. Minimizing the spread of Covid-19 is everyone’s responsibility, therefore you will be notified if I or anyone in my family has developed symptoms. I trust that you will do the same with your family, it’s better not to take any chances and postpone your shoot if this situation arises. If public health introduces new guidelines that will affect your session taking place, I will be in touch to discuss what the options are going forward. As the pandemic ebbs and flows, restrictions will follow in turn, so I am looking ahead at the schedule in two week increments. Despite the Covid-19 considerations, the ability for me to capture these special milestones for your family in a beautiful and memorable way has not been affected, which at the end of the day matters most. I do believe we can keep each other safe, as long as we all do our part!
